Band-e-Amir, Afghanistan

Band-e-Amir, located in Bamyan Province, is the country of Afghanistan's first national park.  It consists of six beautifully spectacular turquoise lakes that are separated by natural dams of travertine.  Many parts of Afghanistan are picturesque.
