PEDDLER AND HIS OUTFIT: This photograph
represents a scene that is common in all the towns and cities of
Cuba. The peddler with his perambulating dry goods shop is
encouraged by the exclusive disposition of the Cuban and Spanish
ladies, who have not acquired the love for shopping that
characterizes their more energetic sisters of the North.
