The first time using this worksheet, kids give definitions and examples of each part of speech. The worksheet is then kept as a "cheat sheet." Later, when reading a fictional or nonfictional text, students add new words that they encounter. Give students a new chart each week, month, quarter, or whatever suits. Have them continue to add new terms that they encounter in their reading.
