2. Arcade—A covered passage with arches, often lined with shops or game machines.

3. Bide—To wait patiently for a favorable opportunity.

4. Bolster—To support, strengthen, or reinforce something.

5. Credulous—Too ready to believe things; gullible.

6. Culprit—Someone responsible for a crime or wrongdoing.

7. Exaggerate—To overstate or represent something as greater than it really is.

8. Impregnate—To saturate or fertilize; also, to make pregnant.

9. Judicial—Relating to courts, judges, or legal proceedings.

10. Nurture—To care for, encourage, or help develop someone or something.

11. Obituary—A notice of someone’s death, often with a brief biography.

12. Permanent—Lasting or intended to last indefinitely without change.

13. Rapid—Happening at high speed; very quick.

14. Respondent—A person who replies to something, especially in a legal case or survey.
