The best adventure wasn't in a jungle or space. It was last Saturday, exploring the muddy creek behind Grandpa's cabin with my dog, Scout. We found a secret waterfall only two feet tall and a smooth, green stone that looked like a dragon's egg. We got so muddy our knees were brown, and Mom just laughed. I keep the stone on my windowsill so I can remember our kingdom. |
