The waiting room smells like band-aids and old magazines. I hope I don't need a shot! Dr. Evans is nice and lets me listen to my own heart with her cold stethoscope. It goes "thump-thump-thump" like a tiny drummer in my chest. When she says I'm healthy and gives me a sticker, the whole scary visit melts away. I pick the sparkly dinosaur one every single time. Going to the doctor is okay by me! |
