Pictured here are shoes, sculptures, and goblets for sale at a Kabul bazaar.  The oil lamps seem to have stepped off the pages of the Arabian Nights.  Located in central Asia, Afghanistan played a major role in ancient and medieval trading networks. Click here to enlarge this image.
