Back to School Learning Games
It's time to go back to school! As always, keep kids learning and entertained by playing our online games. They work fine on smart phones, too.
Lately, we've become rather addicted to Words with Friends (not affiliated with this site). You can play it on Facebook or any smart phone and, best of all, the app is free. It's great for helping kids with spelling and vocabulary. Essentially, Words with Friends is an interactive version of Scrabble that you can play with anyone who has a username. We've been at it for a couple of months, and haven't noticed any extra spam coming into our mailboxes. The ads aren't intrusive, either.
Monthly Contest Giveaway
Thanks to everyone who entered our monthly free school supplies contest giveaway. Entries are accepted all month long, and the winner is drawn on the first day of the following month. (The September winner was drawn on September 1 from the pool of August entries.) The September winner is Karen from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Congratulations!
