Click here to print. This is a fun cross-curricular worksheet to use with primary students when learning about ancient Egypt. First, teachers point to the location of modern Egypt on the map inset. Then, the text is read (at this point, teachers may wish to point out the location of the Red Sea on the map, just east of Egypt, separating it from the Arabian peninsula). Students are asked to count the men working on the ship (there are 22 of them). Next, students get some print manuscript handwriting and spelling practice. Lastly, students get to color the picture. |
