"Starving inmate of Camp Gusen, Austria." T4c. Sam Gilbert, May 12, 1945. 111-SC-264918. Gusen was the largest and harshest concentration camp in Austria. In 1942, 420 Jewish children were murdered at Gusen through lethal injections to their hearts administered by Nazi doctors. In total, an estimated 40,000 people died at this camp.
