Batabano Fishermen

FISHERMEN AND QUARTERS NEAR BATABANO: The bottle-shaped contrivances shown in the photograph are traps used in capturing fish. When in position under water the funnel-like device at the top is inverted, the small end extending into the trap. Through this the fish enter, and once inside are unable to escape.
