FISHERMEN AND QUARTERS NEAR BATABANO: The bottle-shaped contrivances
shown in the photograph are traps used in capturing fish. When in
position under water the funnel-like device at the top is inverted, the
small end extending into the trap. Through this the fish enter, and once
