Chickenfoot dominoes, also known as Chicken Foot, is a fun and strategic game that is a variation of the traditional dominoes game. It is typically played with a set of double-nine dominoes, although double-six, double-twelve, or double-fifteen sets can also be used to accommodate more players or create longer gameplay.

The objective of Chickenfoot is to be the player with the fewest points at the end of the game. Points are calculated based on the total number of pips (dots) on the remaining dominoes in each player's hand at the end of each round.

To begin, the dominoes are shuffled, and each player draws a set number of tiles. The player with the highest double domino starts the game by placing that double in the center of the playing area. This double becomes the "engine," and players build off of it. The game progresses with each player taking turns to add dominoes to the layout, following specific rules.

One of the unique aspects of Chickenfoot is the creation of "chicken feet." When a double domino is played, it must be built upon by placing three matching dominoes at right angles to the double, forming a shape resembling a chicken foot. This special formation must be completed before any other moves can be made, adding an additional layer of strategy as players may need to draw extra tiles if they cannot contribute to the chicken foot.

Players continue to add to the existing domino layout, matching tiles end-to-end by the number of pips. If a player cannot make a move, they must draw from the boneyard (the remaining tiles), and play continues until a player goes out by playing their last domino, or until no more moves can be made.

Chickenfoot dominoes is a game that combines luck, strategy, and a bit of tactical planning, making it an enjoyable and engaging pastime for families and friends. Its unique rules and the challenge of creating chicken feet add a delightful twist to the traditional dominoes game.
